Kindergarten:


The Journey that Took Me Across the Ocean 
●  This program teaches children about the special roles played by each member of a family, and about the skills a pioneer mother had to have.


Grade 1:

The Homestead Is My Home
●  The children learn how pioneer families lived and how different family life is today.

Grade 2:  

My Family and My Neighbours
●  By exploring Ukrainian customs, the children learn that families of different backgrounds keep different traditions.

Grade 3:

My Community in the Past
●  Through the example of a settler’s community, the children learn how communities work and how people need one another to get by.

Grade 4:

The Ukrainians in East Central Alberta
●  By comparing the geography and natural resources of Ukraine and East Central Alberta, the children learn how humans use and interact with their environment.
